POGBA SAYS HE WOULD GET BETTER AFTER DEBUT

Arguably, the most talked about man in football this summer, Paul Pogba finally got his debut for Manchester United since returning to Old Trafford.


United took on Southampton in the second round of games at home, winning 2-0 courtesy of Ibrahimovic’s double.

The Frenchman was on the spot as everyone wanted him to justify every penny of the £89 million spent on him. His fitness for the game was under scrutiny ahead of the Friday night game, but he started alongside Marouane Fellaini in the middle, leaving Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Wayne Rooney, and Anthomy Martial in the front attack line.

Rooney excited ahead of new season

Wayne Rooney has stated that he is excited ahead of the new season.


He believes that Manchester United has a great chance in the Premier League and that with the appointment of Jose Mourinho as manager, there is a new hope in the team.

Wayne Rooney was speaking to a local radio and said that Jose Mourinho had made a positive impact since his appointment as a manager. He stated that he has made changes to the way players trained and that the players are really putting in practice what they have been taught. He admitted that the training had been hard some time, but the players have adapted well.
