Sir Alex Ferguson was saying only last week that he wanted Rooney & Saha to be the next goal twins (see here), and now he's telling the world that the pair can only get better and better!
He said: "I think Wayne's understanding with Louis Saha knows no bounds, even if their partnership is not what I would call a natural pairing.
"They each bring great individual qualities to the game.
"They are two-footed, speedy, strong and determined. But in terms of combination play, it is a pairing that has required practice.
"We have worked strongly on that in training and they have responded well. They are improving all the time.
"It's just one of the many facets of our play that is bearing fruit and which makes me feel so excited about our prospects this season."
