Ex-Manchester United striker Louis Saha has revealed how Red Devils midfielder Paul Pogba can function well at the club. Paul Pogba has not really set the world alight since he re-signed for Manchester United almost five years ago. Manchester United secured the return of Paul Pogba to the club in a deal worth £89m thus making him the most expensive player at the time of his move in 2016.
He returned to the Theatre of Dreams from Italian Serie A title holders Juventus. Paul Pogba had left Manchester United as a teenager four years earlier in search of more playing time. During his time at Juventus, Paul Pogba won four successive league titles and also played in the 2015 Champions League final as Juventus were beaten 3-1 by a Lionel Messi-inspired Barcelona team.
Louis Saha spoke about his compatriot Paul Pogba and his form for Manchester United this season in a chat with Stadium Astro. According to Louis Saha, Paul Pogba needs the right system to perform at the highest level and that his recent form for the Red Devils shows that he’s starting to get back to the France national team form that endeared him to a lot of people many years ago. Paul Pogba was part of the French team that won the World Cup tournament in Russia three years ago. He was one of the go-to men for the French team during that tournament under Didier Deschamps. Paul Pogba has earned plaudits for his form in the past weeks for Manchester United and Louis Saha is certain that he will continue to perform well if he’s played in the right system. Paul Pogba has emerged as the matchwinner for Manchester United in recent away games at Fulham and Burnley to keep his team in the hunt for the Premier League title.
