SAHA URGES PAUL POGBA TO STAY AT UNITED

While the future of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba continues to attract several rumors and speculations, many people have been asking him to stay put and not seal a move away from the club anytime soon. On several occasions, the France international midfielder has appeared to have shown signs of wanting to leave Old Trafford, with reports claiming that he is not happy with how the club is being run. Some months ago, his agent, Mino Raiola, dropped a major bombshell when he said in public that he would love to see his client leave the Theater of Dreams and move to another club where he would have more guarantees of winning titles.

The words of Raiola triggered United manager Olé Gunnar Solksjær’s reaction and the Norwegian boss fired back at him in a press conference, saying that he was being very unprofessional with his job.

Even before then, the Pogba exit rumors were already alive and they kept circulating as a result of the fact that the player usually came under huge criticism at the slightest mistake he made. Several ex-footballers and football pundits like Paul Scholes, Martin Keown, Jamie Carragher, Gary Neville, and others have one time or the other, bashed Pogba anytime he put in a performance that was below his standard as one of the club’s star players.

Despite almost always making the headlines about his desire to leave, he has still managed to remain at the club and according to his compatriot and a former Red Devils’ star, Louis Saha, he should stay back and be a part of their future success.

Saha said it is impossible to not think of moving away from a club when you’re not winning titles, but also said that Pogba is that type of player that helps the club to win trophies and for that reason, he should stay back and steer the club to title successes.
