Frenchman Louis Saha has backed new Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick in the UEFA Champions League this season. Louis Saha spoke to the bookmakers website about the German tactician.
Saha says that the Champions League is a cup competition and it’s all about the team that performs on the day. The Frenchman has experience in winning the Champions League from his time at Manchester United. He was part of the Red Devils squad that saw off Chelsea on penalties to win the 2008 Champions League final after a 1-1 draw. Saha has clearly thrown his weight behind Rangnick in the quest for a fourth European title and he has Cristiano Ronaldo, the all-time leading goalscorer in the Champions League in his corner. His first assignment is to lead Manchester United past Spanish champions Atletico Madrid to qualify for the quarterfinals.
Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has overseen six games in all competitions since he was named in interim capacity until the end of the season with a record of four wins and two draws. His first game was a 1-0 home win over Crystal Palace thanks to the final quarter strike from Brazil national team star Fred. Five of the six games have been in the Premier League with the other game coming in the Champions League.
